Howard Silverman – senior managing director and product manager, FMX FX
Howard Silverman is leading the global sales effort for the FMX FX platform. With extensive experience in the industry, Howard’s focus is on expanding the platform both in the US and internationally by bringing together real liquidity takers with the best market-makers.In 2000, Howard Silverman co-founded Hotspot FX Inc, the first electronic communications network (ECN) for the institutional foreign exchange (FX) market. By opening up access of the interbank FX market to non-bank clients, Howard has helped pioneer the way FX is traded. Prior to establishing Hotspot, Howard served as Global Manager of FX Sales at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette (DLJ). Before joining DLJ, Howard had senior roles at Barclays Bank Plc, National Westminster Bank Plc, and Credit Suisse.
Howard graduated with a B.A. from Colgate University in 1987.
